Assembly Instructions 

First of all cut all your components in your choice of card.

The main base has only a fold in the middle, The base for the layers to be attached to has a fold line and 3 or4 angled cut lines depending on the design, these cut lines are for you to slide the layers into and glue them from underneath making a nice neat top on your design, cut this part in thin card or paper

If there's velum to be glued to buildings do this now. 

Now, Glue your front layer into place,each layer has 2 long tabs, fold the first layer backwards and the rest of layers fold forwards, this will keep it all neat on the base when you come to glue it on the main base, now work back from there with each layer securing them neatly with glue or tape

Now attach your top base layer to the main base layer. Keep it all flat and glue in place, let it all dry before you try and fold it. 

Now it's time to put any silhouette parts in place, they just glue to the front of the second fence layer, you can put in in any position you prefer or you can copy the one I did on the image.

Swiss Advent Cottage 

Assembly Instructions

This design will need to be increased by 50%  the dimension of the base is 9x7.5 inches so as long as you lock the proportions when resizing this is the measurement of the base (the house measures 9" high when finished)  

First cut all the parts, don’t forget that some of the parts will be for your choice of patterned paper to stick to the main part (these patterned paper parts have no tabs so it should be obvious which are which and are coloured green on the cutting mat to make it easier to determine which they are)

First assemble the 24 boxes to go inside some of the windows, they have a little square that you’ll need to stick to the back of the boxes too which is the back of the little box. Leave them to dry and now stick all the patterned panels to the main panels.

Stick the window frames in place and vellum on those that have no ‘door’ the vellum sticks on the inside and the frames go on the outside.

The windows with openings are the ones you will use for your advent boxes (24) so aligned your boxes on the back of these windows and glue them in place. Let them dry.

Now assemble the roof, glue  both large roof panels together. Add the snow effect to the very top of the roof  before you put the annexes on, the annexes just glue together and attach with the tops all at the same height , be sure to keep them straight though. Otherwise you’ll end up with a wonky annexes. Now add the rest of the snow.

Now go back to the main house and glue all the sides together let dry then you can add the roof, make sure you keep it aligned so that the base sits square but put the base on last, there’s a hole in the base so you can stand the house over a tea light (battery operated only)

Make sure the house sits perfectly on the base, this will keep it all aligned nicely.

I cut the 24 numbers out of glitter card, but you can choose how to add yours.

Finally add the arch over the door, it only has 3 sides to make it easy to glue.

Ferris wheel

 Assembly instructions

I would advice you to cut 4 wheels and 4 frames (the triangular section that holds the wheel) and glue 2 together this is  to add stability to the Ferris wheel.

First make the spindle (the part that goes through the middle of the wheel) it’s a hexagon shape, the 2 tabs on each end need gluing so that the final decorative ends will stick to them. Remember to keep the wheel templates lined up when gluing them together as the pattern is not perfectly symmetrical and will show if you don’t line them up. 

I have only put one of each of the following on the mat.. Chairs, canopy, bar to hang chairs on, chair and canopy decoration. You will need to cut 8 of each of these

Slot one side of the wheel onto the spindle making sure the little tabs go to the inside of the Ferris wheel, do the same with the second one keeping it aligned with the other one, this is important because the Bars for the seats will be wonky, and you don’t want a wonky seat.

Now slot the framework onto the spindle one on each side again keeping the tabs to the inside. Now glue the decorative end caps (the circles with scalloped edges) onto each end of the spindle – leave to dry.. The wheel and the frame will be glued later)

Whilst waiting for the glue to dry you can build your seats. The seats are the ones with the hooks on them, if you’re adding decorative paper do this before building them. The templates are also there for the decorative parts on the chairs and the canopies. Once the seats are made you can do the same with the canopies and then glue them to the top of the hooks on the seats (there’s a tab for this)

Now.. back to the wheel..

You will have 8 bars that slot through the circles on the wheel, only slot 4 in for now (one in the top, bottom and left and right)  slot them into the both wheels –they’re a bit fiddly but take your time. They should be in line if you made sure you kept each wheel lined up with each other.  Now you can glue the small tabs on the wheels that are on the spindle, keeping them the same distance apart as the bars for the seats, this is also a bit fiddly – again take your time.

Now you can glue the frames in place too, they will sit on the edge of the spindle next to the decorative end cap.

Now for the important bit.. Go and make a cuppa whilst those bits dry 

Now they have dried you can put the rest of the bars for the seats in place. They do swivel but this was just to make it easier to get them in as it’s fiddly enough. The top of the bar is the bit that has the middle raised, the hooks slot onto the wheel to hold them in place. Now you have all the bars in you can hook your chairs on, you will see there’s a little slot on each side on to top under the canopy, this just slots nicely over the top of the bar one either side of the raised bit and the will sit there quite nicely even with a little rock if the wheel is touched..

 Assembly Instructions 

First of all cut all your components in your choice of card.

The main base has only a fold in the middle, The base for the layers to be attached to has a fold line and 4 angled cut lines, these cut lines are for you to slide the layers into add glue them from underneath making a nice neat top on your design.

The back layer is the shortest so it will go the the cut line spaced furthest apart from the others and it is  shorter than the other so you will see which one easily enough.

Glue it into place, the next layer is the building scene you have left. So you can attach this one now, then the other 2 are identical so they just go in the front 2 cut line putting them both the same way.

Now attach this layer to the main base layer. Keep if all flat and glue in place, let it all dry before you try and fold it. 

Now it's time to put the sleigh and reindeer in place, they just glue to the front of the second fence layer, you can put in in any position you prefer or you can copy the one I did on the image.
